The Battle of Trenton

I  just saw the Battle of Trenton, and here are some details. Today I witnessed the Battle  on Thursday December  26,1776.

Great Britain                                  US

Commander: Johann Rall                         George W.

Force:             There force was 1,520         Our force was 2,400

Killed:             We killed 22 of their’s         They  killed 2 of our’s

Wounded:      We wounded 86                    They wounded 5

Captured:       We captured 906                  They captured 0

The United States won the Battle of Trenton. Right after General George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River north of  Trenton the previous night, Washington led the main body Continental Army against lesion soldiers garrisoned at Trenton. The reason why this battle should be remembered it is an  important event in the American Revolutionary war because it inspired beleaguered  American soldiers to reenlist and encouraged more men to join the fledgling  American Military.                             Credit to:  www-tc.pbs.org

Rememberance Day

Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7,1941 at 8:00 am.

The Japanese people were the ones that attacked our country.

One ship was called the Arizona and it was the one sunk by the Japanese people.

3,600 people died that day.

The United States  was actually helping Russia and England at the time.

When Japan attacked that was the start of World War ll.

The war lasted 2 hours.

The current president was Franklin D. Roosevelt.

I hope it never happens again.

That must have been really scary for the people at Pearl Harbor.

I also wish I could say thank you to all the people that died for me.

It was also very shocking and surprising.

The point that it was really shocking was when the U.S. was trying to help England and Russia.

Thank you everyone that died .
